So, uh...
I'm making a Dark Deception fangame and would love to have custom Malak lines, plus some lines for the Joy Joy Gang and stuff... but I have no way to afford the actual cast, and I can't find TTS anywhere made from the characters' lines.
I have used Uberduck for FNAF voices, like HandUnit/Tutorial Unit, and even experimented with some of the MLP voices in my MLP ARG, TheDazzlingsAreBack (a channel supposedly run by the Reformed Sirens which posts "found footage" and creepy emergency alert videos straight from modern Equestria). I don't completely like the Celestia Voice AI, but it was good enough for what I needed--an automated announcement system called the Voice of Celestia, featuring a voice that, through some research into history, was made to sound very much like Celestia was thought to sound like.
I do LOVE the HandUnit Voice AI for FNAF, and Fandom Scouts is using it for a system called RARA, or Repair and Retrofit Assistant. This is a system found in a minigame, where you need to survive while an animatronic is retrofitted, and sometimes, you'll need to retrieve pieces for the machine to use. The goal? Stay away from Shadow Bonnie until the machine is finished, or you'll get jumpscared and will need to start over.
But I've been constantly waiting for someone to make AI for the Dark Deception characters. If anyone knows how to make a Voice AI, please help me out here. The community would appreciate it too. I do know Uberduck has that occasional glitch where the voices go crazy and spurt gibberish and weird noises... but honestly, I need a voice line with such a glitch. Specifically for one character.
The version of Malak in this game is called Glitch Malak, and he's a guardian of Daydreams rather than Nightmares. The issue is, he doesn't mean well--he's actually trying to trap you away from reality, and at the same time, won't let you go home even to visit your friends. You're inside this twisted utopia, and your only way out is to free the spirits inside the soul shards (there are very few in this place, as most decided not to fight back but rather to succumb to the Glitch and become Daydreams). It's kind of like Mabel's Bubble in Gravity Falls. It's fun if you go along with it, but if you fight back, it turns on you.
Glitch Malak is, indeed, glitched. He tends to stutter, or even freeze. This is because the entire game takes place inside the main character's computer (Monika Stavern), as a glitch in the game Monsters and Mortals releases Glitch Malak and he captures her by seeming friendly, asking to take Monika into his realm of Daydreams. Monika refuses at first, but decides to go anyway after Glitch Malak shows her some of his seemingly benign abilities (not like the ones in Dark Deception),
Glitch Malak does sound the same as Malak, but is "glitched" because a glitch created him. Each time this super rare glitch occurs, it summons Glitch Malak into that room. According to the storyline, Vince can't fix it because Glitch Malak is keeping him from doing it.
The Daydreams also sound the same as their Nightmare counterparts, but again, are glitched. The Joy Joy Gang needs some voice lines other than the ones in the gang, as do the Reaper Nurses and Mama Bear... oh, and Agatha. And later on I may need Bierce for another game, or someone else will want her...
But yeah, that's why I thought Uberduck was appropriate. Not to mention it's really popular. So yeah, can someone make Uberduck voices for the speaking characters? Or some other free TTS AI website, but I do prefer Uberduck, Much appreciated!
