This article contains information on a subject that isn't considered canon in Dark Deception franchise.

Skins are unlockable items in Monsters & Mortals used to customize the appearances of characters. They can only be obtained through the in-game store or purchasing a DLC, and are purely cosmetic.

Common skins costs 3,000 soul shards.
Rare skins costs 15 red shards.
Exclusive skins are promotions of Downloadable Content. When the player purchases a DLC, they also get the whole skin collection of it.

Monsters[]

Murder Monkey[]

Nightmare Mode	Common	Nightmare Mode Collection In the Nightmare Mode skin, the Murder Monkey retains the same look as they have in the original game.
Postman	Common	Halloween Collection In the Postman skin, this changes the Murder Monkey's bellhop hat to a blue color and changes his outfit to that of a postman.
Soldier Monkey	Rare	In the Soldier Monkey skin, the Murder Monkey's bellhop uniform is replaced by an army combat uniform sporting a digital camouflage design. It also wears a peaked cap featuring the same camouflage in place of its bellhop hat.
Kung Fu	Rare	Halloween Collection In the Kung Fu skin, this changes the Murder Monkeys suit to yellow with a black stripe and the bellhop hat is more yellow. Potentially referencing Beatrix from the Kill Bill movie duology.
Gingerbread	Rare	Sweet Collection Murder Monkey's entire body is now made out of gingerbread and fully decorate with frosting and candy. The eyes and teeth are candy and the blades are covered in candy as well as being made of gingerbread.

Agatha[]

Rag Doll	Rare	In the Rag Doll skin, Agatha's hair is dyed red, and her smile's marks and nose are also red. Her outfit is replaced by a white dress with a heart drawing and two red stripes at the bottom with a blue undershirt. Her right leg now has a white ripped sock with red stripes. This skin is a obvious reference to the popular "Raggedy Ann" dolls.
Pumpkin Spice	Rare	Halloween Collection In the Pumpkin Spice skin, Agatha's hair is dyed orange, a green undershirt, her dress is Orange with marks on it to look like a decorated pumpkin, and her sock on her right leg now has a pattern of Black and Green.
Sweet Treat	Common	Sweet Collection In the Sweet Treat skin, Agatha's smile marks are now pink, her sock is now yellow, her dress is now pink and covered in sprinkles, and her undershirt is now yellow.

Red Coat	Common	In the Red Coat skin, the Gold Watcher's outfit is replaced by a red coat with black buttons, white stripes and gold round buttons. He now wears a white bow-tie, cravat, strap, shirt, and pants. He also wears a black tricorn, white gloves, and black shoes.
Golden Boy	Common	Halloween Collection In the Golden Boy skin, this turns the Gold Watchers body entirely into gold including his clothing.
Silver Raider	Common	Halloween Collection In the Silver Raider skin, this turns the Gold Watcher into pure silver including his clothing.
Sugar Crystal	Common	Sweet Collection The Gold Watcher's body and his clothes are now various shades of blue in a crystal detail much like rock candy.

Dread Ducky[]

Bone Ducky	Common	Halloween Collection In the Bone Ducky skin, the Dread Ducky is now entirely white with 3 black stripes across it's body as if they were a ribcage and their traffic cone is now a single black color.
Flamingo	Rare	In the Flamingo skin, the Dread Ducky's entire body is coated pink, obscuring most of the grime across its body. Its bill is also painted blue with a black tip. Its traffic cone hat has been painted blue as well with multiple pineapples drawn over it.
Neapolitan	Rare	Sweet Collection Dread Ducky is now living ice cream. The legs are an ice cream cone, the body is strawberry and vanilla with chocolate sprinkles, the eyes are dripping chocolate, and the traffic cone is now an ice cream cone with the top (or bottom) covered in vanilla.

Clown Gremlin[]

Goliath	Common	In the Goliath skin, the Clown Gremlin retains the same look as the boss in the original game.
Spooky Skeleton	Rare	In the Spooky Skeleton skin, the Clown Gremlin loses its collar, pupils and clown makeup, and now wears skull face paint and a glow-in-the-dark suit featuring a skeletal structure. His hat also loses its stripe. This skin is a reference to the "Spooky Scary Skeletons" song.
Macgremlin	Rare	Halloween Collection This skin gives the Clown Gremlin an identical look to the fast food mascot, Ronald McDonald. Minus the logo for the fast food chain which is replaced with a "G" instead of an "M". Likely for "Gremlin".
Velvet Cake	Rare	Sweet Collection This skin changes his body into velvet cake. With various parts of the body being velvet cake, velvet cake with frosting, or just the frosting itself. His eyes are now red.

Reaper Nurse[]

Halloween Green	Common	Halloween Collection This skin replaces her design with Green and Black colors instead of Red and White.

Mint Chocolate	Common	Sweet Collection Reaper Nurse is now red and white colors with mint green and brown, her giant syringe is now filled with a minty liquid.

Lucky the Rabbit[]

Chocolate Bunny	Rare	Sweet Collection Lucky is now entirely brown in a couple of shades just like a chocolate bunny.

Hangry the Pig[]

The Notorious P.I.G.	Common	Hangry is set to his Nightmare design but, takes on a heavily monochromatic color scheme, reminiscent of his rap song "The Notorious P.I.G".
Stroopwaffle	Rare	Sweet Collection Hangry's pig "skin" is now a Stroop waffle while his shirt is made of syrup.

Penny the Chicken[]

Nightmare	Common	Nightmare Mode Collection In the Nightmare skin, Penny retains the same look as she has in the original game.
Poultrygeist	Common	Strangely, as the name suggests, this skin depicts Penny as a monochromatic ghost. she does not share her traits of the rap videos nor looks like her nightmare form, and instead is shown to be a pure white paper depiction of herself. A small heart can be seen embedded on her chest.
Orange Chocolate	Rare	Sweet Collection Penny's body is now an Orange Chocolate (or a chocolate covered orange). Her belly is an orange with chocolate stripes, her legs and "fur" are now chocolate, her eyes, mouth, and chicken comb is now orange.

Malak[]

Showstopper	Common	In the Showstopper skin, Malak's outfit is replaced by a white shirt, a black tie, and a black and white suit with white buttons. References Beetlejuice.
Golden God	Rare	In the Golden God skin, Malak's entire body is coated with gold with the exception of his horns, shirt, palms and shoes.
Pumpkin King	Rare	Halloween Collection In the Pumpkin King skin, Malak's skin is colored in Orange, a missing nose like a decorated pumpkin, a black tie, a white shirt, and his suit is now Orange covered in black pumpkins.
Sour Gummy	Rare	Sweet Collection In the Sour Gummy skin, Malak's entire body is now made of various sour candy. By the various colors, likely the strips of sour air-heads. His head remains red but now has a texture change to look more like candy then red skin, his shoes are now orange, his pants are now blue, his shirt is now red with yellow pockets and the are around his chest is now yellow, his tie is now blue, and the collar and undershirt are now green.

Empress	Rare	In the Empress skin, Bierce has the same appearance as her Geisha skin, but without makeup. Her outfit is replaced by a red dress with two dragons at the bottom.
Queen of Hearts	Rare	Halloween Collection In the Queen of Hearts skin, Bierce now has black nail polish on her fingernails, Red hair, her dress is now black, white and red with red hearts covering it, and the soul shards are now red in color.
Strawberry Chocolate	Common	Sweet Collection In the Strawberry Chocolate skin, Bierce's hair is now pink and her dress is now pink with brown stripes.

Night Stalker	Common	Halloween Collection In the Night Stalker skin, Evans now has a white collar, white sleeves, black hair, his pants and shirt are now black with white stripes, and wears a skeleton mask that is a green skull with a black background.

Doug Houser[]

Rotten One	Common	In the Rotten One skin, Doug's outfit is replaced by a black buttoned shirt, and a red and purple striped vest and pants. Referenced from the character Robbie Rotten.
Groom	Common	In the Groom skin, Doug's entire outfit is now white, and he also wears white gloves.
Batty	Common	Halloween Collection In the Batty skin, Doug now has a green tie, green dyed hair, and his outfit is purple with black bats on it. This outfit somewhat resembles The Joker from Batman.
Golden Chocolate	Common	Sweet Collection In the Golden Chocolate skin, Doug now is now entirely made out of chocolate, with all of his clothing and hair being various shades of brown.

Banana Split	Common	Sweet Collection In the Banana Split skin, Vince's hat is now white with the Dark Deception logo on it, his shoes are now pink with a white sole, his pants are pink, and his shirt is now white with yellow sleeves and there is 3 banana's on his chest.

Candy Man	Rare	Sweet Collection In the Candy Man skin, Nikson's entire body and clothing become various shades of brown and his outfit is now covered in various colored circles with an "M" on them. Referencing the acronym for the game, DD:M&M and the M&M candy brand. The "M" is in the Dark Deception font.

PenPen[]

Candy Corn	Rare	Halloween Collection In the Candy Corn skin, PenPen has her hair dyed yellow, an orange bowtie, orange colored sandals, and her shirt is now colored like a candy corn with a drawing of one on her chest. She now has an orange zapper as well.
Bubblegum Princess	Rare	Sweet Collection In the Bubblegum Princess skin, PenPen has her hair dyed Pink, a pink bowtie, white sandals, her shirt is pink, she now has pink eyeliner, and her lipstick is pink.

	Princess Heart	Exclusive	Silent Hill Collection Wears a costume based off her super hero alias "princess heart". she wears a dress containing colors of white, blue, and even pink hearts. head piece also can be seen on her head. regular weapon is replaced by a magical looking staff.
