Trivia[]
- In the second episode of the Q&A, Vince confirmed that Chapter 5 will have 3 zones in the levels.
- In the sixteenth Q&A, Vince confirmed that there will be multiple boss fights for every level inside of Chapter 5.
- Later, in the twenty second Q&A, Vince mentioned that all of the chapter 5 levels will have a boss fight mid way through the level, and at the end of a level.
- On January 17th 2023, Vince mentioned on Twitter that the following Chapter 5 teaser would reveal Level 10's title and monster.[1]
- On January 24th, in the Glowstick Entertainment YouTube channel's Community tab, Vince forgot about his promise and revealed an amalgamation of all the previous monsters instead.
- In the 23rd Q&A, Vince revealed that Prison Panic has an unrevealed boss enemy.
- He also described the level to be "the weirdest level in Chapter 5".
- In the 24th Q&A, Vince revealed that the Vulture Guard is still a scrapped design, with a possibility of being added to Monsters & Mortals.
- There is going to be a zone in the air or hovering a void, similar to what is seen in the concept art.
- In the 25th Q&A, Vince revealed that the tracks for Prison Panic mostly consist of Dark Star/Adriana Figueroa singing, and that these tracks are spoilers. It's possible these tracks contain heavy lore information.
- The tracks could consist of Dark Star gloating and bragging about what Malak has planned for Doug, possibly going into detail of what exactly Malak is going to do.
- It is also possible that the team do not wish to reveal Dark Star's voice or singing before the release of Chapter 5, this is due to Vince having confirmed that the full OST for Prison Panic will release after the chapter is released.
- It is possible that like Bearly Buried, Prison Panic is a level/nightmare not held up by a ring piece, as in the 25th Q&A, Vince confirmed this to be the reason Bearly Buried did not begin collapsing when Doug took the ring pieces. It's possible that Dark Star herself may be what is keeping the nightmare running.
- Prison Panic is the second level with the most tracks in the game.
- There is a TV head enemy in this level that we will meet "pretty soon".
- Prison Panic is the most trap-heavy location in chapter 5.
- Prison Panic could also be a stage as Dark Star will act both as a Warden and a Show Hostess.
- Prison Panic was originally the name of a fangame but Vince talked with the developer and he changed the title to "Jailhouse Justice".
- Originally, level 10 was going to be very different, with the main character being a male character.
- Prison Panic has Vince's favorite OST.
- In the 27th Q&A, Vince confirmed that there will be intractable NPCs.
- These were confirmed to be other mortals who were imprisoned.
- In the 30th Q&A, it was revealed that all of Chapter 5 levels will have +400 soul shards
