  • What is your ideas and predictions on the Reaper Nurses and The Matron's possible mechanic and special abilities as well as your thoughts on how do the Joy Joy Gang, Trigger Teddies, and Mama Bear's Frenzy Mode appearance would looked like?

    • I think that the Matron would be slower than the nurses, but work as a sort of alerting system, or the other way around.  The nurses would be decently fast, and harder to outrun.  Since they have roller skates, I think that they'd move quickly, gaining speed in long hallways but not cornering well.

The frenzy forms for the nurses would give them darker red shades, and their white aprons would turn red.  The bag itself would turn black, the cross would turn red, and the face area would glow (or they'd lose their mask.)  The Matron's frenzy form would be similarly colored.

The JJG's frenzy form would look like their withered form, but with some other stuff.  Lucky would be red with dark grey muzzle and ears, with his camera eyes darkened, and with his skeleton seen glowing through.  The others'd have some color changes, as well as the eyes and skeleton.

The JJG would all have their own mechanics.  Hangry could locate you if you pass in a radius around him, you can hear him sniffing, which is a cue to get away quick.  Penny could fly over obstacles, and if she was in the air, she wouldn't get hit by the stun powerup.  Lucky could hear you anywhere, and will go in your general direction if you use a powerup or run near him.

I think that there would be some doors that are locked, and you'd have to go and use telekinesis from another angle to pull something away that was blocking the door.  There'd also be trapped shards.

You forgot about your thoughts on what would the Trigger Teddies and Mama Bear's Frenzy Mode appearance would looked like.

Also, it is confirmed in the second Q&A that the Reaper Nurses' mechanic will involve switching out between different weapons to their advantage, as well as a rumor that I believe that the Reaper Nurses would have the special ability to turn themselves invisible to the player's eyes, making them can only be detected by the Telepathy power, and another rumor that states the Reaper Nurses will be the first enemies in Dark Deception who can kill the player in two hits and can inflict the player with a range of annoying and deadly status effects akin to Witches from Minecraft except they stab the player by using their giant syringes that contained some of these nasty substances and concoctions instead of throwing potions (Let's just say when you meet one of the Reaper Nurses, they will inject you with a strange concoction or a dubious substance that inflicts either a poison effect that slowly drains your health on time immediately, a slowness effect that makes you move slower than normal and can affect your Speed Boost power (kinda like the sewer water in Stranger Sewers), a revealing effect that makes your location revealed to the Reaper Nurses, a paralyzing stun/freeze effect similar to the Dread Duckies, a hallucination/nausea effect that makes your hear weird noises out of nowhere and see things like fake Reaper Nurses in front of you, a blindness that obviously makes you cannot see everything in front of you, and probably another status effect that simply kills the player right away. When inflicted by the status effects, you must find a pill somewhere or some kind of a special shard that cures the status effects).

I also used to speculate that they would work like Ignited Foxy from TJOC: Reborn but without the "scaring with a flashlight mechanic". So basically, they can't see where the player is until when they gets a little bit closer to the player. And then they chases the player at a faster pace because of their roller skates, but they are slow at turning corners and they also prefers to stealthily sneak up behind the player's back undetected and ambushing them.

What is your thoughts on those mechanics?

    • I like the idea of the Nurses injecting a stun thing into the player.

Also, the new powerup should be used in some way.  How about this: the Nurse puts a small needle in you that causes a bad effect as long as it's there.  Then, when you aren't being chased, you can pull it out with telekinesis.  The Nurses' attack jumpscares (where they use the big needle) could possibly be stopped by using the powerup mid-attack?

      I like your ideas!

  • Do you know that the final 11th level of Dark Deception is actually the true ending to Dark Deception after we get all S-Ranks to all 10 levels according to one post from the developers on Twitter?

  • Since the JJG will have different abilities/mechanic's for each of them, then what is your predictions for each of them?

      Loading editor
    • Hmm...

Well, since he's a rabbit, Lucky could probably hear you open doors, and run on loud flooring.

Hangry would probably smell you, since he's a pig.

Penny might know where you are instantly if you enter a certain radius around her.

I think all of them would instantly know where you are if a camera sees you, but maybe the camera would make a beeping sound that Lucky would hear instead.
