"Complete the ring, and you can use Malak's power to fulfill your darkest desires...or so the legend goes." This page is a stub!(?) You can help the Dark Deception wiki by adding more information to it!

Through Dark Deception, there are some small interactive objects hidden in the levels. These can act as requirements for achieving an S Rank, unlocking certain achievements, or integral parts to completing the level.
Ring Bell[]
A ring bell appears in "Monkey Business" in the opening lobby. Ringing the bell ten times will cause another monkey cutout to pop out from the desk, and the player will unlock the Service, Please! achievement.
Slide[]
The slide appears in "Elementary Evil" in the outside playground. Going down the slide will unlock the Playtime! achievement.
Golden Lever[]
The golden levers appear in "Deadly Decadence", where they open doors at the beginning of the manor. Another lever can be found in the manor's corridors, which will open up a secret area when pulled. The indicator for the levers on the Tablet is pastel green.
Number Pad[]
Three of them appear in "Stranger Sewers", which cause the lifts beneath them to activate and move down, each one leading to a secret file and one leading to some Dread Duckies dancing too. Despite including different buttons, the pad must only be pressed once to activate the lift.
Sewer Valve[]
The sewer valve appears in "Stranger Sewers" during the boss battle with the Doom Ducky, and is situated in the center of the ring chamber. In order to progress through the fight, the valve must be turned four times (twice for each valve) until Doom Ducky's door shuts and the exit is unlocked.
Demonic Cotton Candy[]
Cotton Candy appears in "Crazy Carnevil". Eating a cotton candy at the booth near the merry-go-round will unlock the
Sweet Tooth achievement. The game will note that any other pieces of cotton candy don't "look very edible."
Hospital Elevator Buttons[]
Elevator buttons are a important interactable seen throughout torment therapy. The first one is seen when the player must advance up to Zone 1. A few other extra elevator buttons found in zone 1 release secret files.
Underground Factory Elevator Buttons[]
Factory elevator buttons are important transport interactables found in Mascot mayhem. Interacting is required in order to advance into the ring Altair room, zone 3, and back up zone 1.
Fuse Box[]
The fuse box is a important interactive in zone 2 of Mascot Mayhem. When all shards are collected, Doug looks to activate it to restore power to zone 3. The JJG catches up to him, and after pressing a button, Doug causes a electrical shock via water disturbance towards them. This turns the JJG into their frenzy mode.
Reset Button[]
The reset button is a required interactive in zone 3 of Mascot Mayhem. It is a simple button needed in order to activate the crusher. The button becomes active after all zone 3 shards are collected.
Crusher[]
The crusher is a cinematic interactive used to advance to the boss phase of Mascot Mayhem. After activating the reset button, it is used by Doug to destroy the JJG for good. well... sort of.
When the JJG is crushed, Malak activates a protocol to transform them into Joy Kill.
When Doug attempts to crush them again, it fails, and the crusher is permanently destroyed by Joy Kill.
A piston crusher is used to push Joy Kill to his doom into the lava, but it can also pose risk to the player if they are not careful.
Piston Levers[]
Piston levers are small interactables that require the player to spam the F key to pull down. there are 4 during the boss fight on Mascot Mayhem and when all are activated, the piston crusher becomes active.
