Hanako is a playable mortal in the Dark Deception multiplayer game Monsters & Mortals. She was released alongside with Senpai, Ayano and Info Chan in the Yandere Simulator pack.
She is Taro's younger sister.
Appearance[]
Hanako has two pigtails that reach her shoulders with two strands of hair protruding. She appears to wear a same sailor uniform from Yandere Simulator.
Personality[]
In Yandere Simulator, Hanako is described as 'Girly and Childish'. Because she couldn't stand being away from her brother, she decided to transfer to Akademi in order to be with her brother all the time. As described by YandereDev, Hanako is 'hopelessly dependent on Senpai, though she will eventually become independent if rejected or matchmade with another boy. Hanako can be sometimes described as a little bit overprotective. Hanako's worst fear is that Senpai will get a girlfriend and forget all about her. Because of this, she had 'made it her mission' to stop any girls from loving Senpai and keep him all to herself. Senpai could never stand making his sister cry, and so she would be very dangerous to Ayano. The only person Hanako would be willing to give Senpai is Osana, as they are very close to each other.
Gameplay[]
As a Mortal of the Ranged class Hanako is a bit more than average in soul shard collecting, movement speed, and has an average amount of Hp. Her downside is that she does less damage than the Balanced Mortals and her heavy attack being ranged, has a longer cooldown between attacks.
Interestingly, her heavy attack has more range than other heavy attacks. Similar to Penny's heavy attack being a projectile. She attacks by slapping for her light attack and she blows a kiss that then fires a Pink, Heart-shaped projectile for her heavy attack. This projectile is similar to Penny's although it cannot be thrown upwards or downwards. If tossed in a straight line with nothing for it to hit, it will go for 6 seconds before disppearing.
Her ultimate ability, Fangirling, when activated she will fire out 4 Fiery Heart projectiles in a Plus (+) pattern that do 40 damage each (Incorrectly stated in game as 50 damage each). With 1 projectile going where she is looking, 1 behind her, and 1 at both of her sides. She will also heal 30% of her total Hp over 5 seconds. She will heal 12 Hp per second, a total of 60.
It is best used before or during a fight to get some damage in and heal. It can also be used when surrounded by enemies in Soul Collection or Maze Escape to make use of her firing 4 projectiles. Just be sure to position yourself before firing them.
