For the customer level ‘Ravaged Railways’ Doug, Bierce, Malak, and a Reaper nurse (don’t ask me why I picked these 4) operate a Union Pacific Veranda Turbine named Veranda, based in Union Pacific X67, one of the 2nd Gen UP GTELs, as they began moving, Veranda’s tender, containing Bunker C Fuel would uncouple itself and go uncontrollably down an unused line, until it derails, (reflecting Doug’s frustration of O gauge Veranda Turbines throwing the rear electro coupler of the veranda, and not the rear coupler on the tender), and then, they got chased by a passenger train hauled by a USRA Heavy Mountain locomotive, Using Soul Shards as fuel for Veranda (a Unique mechanic for the level) once the train behind them derailed into a siding, they stop to refuel, but, the engine of the train from earlier returns, albeit without the tender and the rest of the train, and sustained more damage, and looks heavily corroded, and the headlight and marker lights glowing red (the train’s Frenzy mode), they continued until when it crossed over the spot where Veranda’s tender detached
from Veranda, the engine took the wrong way, and crashed, permanently destroying it.

I'm pretty much sure that the hands we see in the first trailer are related to it since it has a similar color and it would make some sense if it was a eldritch beast or something. Maybe like the creature from stranger things in season three.
